The Position Mandate
- You will architect and launch deep learning models tailored to analyze UAV sensory data for mapping and photogrammetry projects. Your central focus will involve developing semantic segmentation and feature extraction methods to process large-scale orthomosaic datasets efficiently.
Furthermore, you will design real-time detection systems to identify infrastructure, agricultural health, and terrain changes from flight logs. This enables our partners to receive precise, actionable intelligence from every mission.
You will also innovate on multi-sensor fusion to improve the accuracy of localized drone navigation.
- We entrust you to partner with our robotics engineers to maximize throughput on embedded NVIDIA Jetson modules during active flight. You are tasked with curating diverse training sets that cover various altitudes, weather patterns, and nadir angles.
By utilizing Transformers and CNNs, you will keep our geospatial analysis at the cutting edge. Your work will fundamentally change how industries monitor their assets through automated, high-resolution aerial mapping.
Ensuring the robustness and low latency of our perception stack is crucial for autonomous UAV decision-making.
Target Talent
- You are a master of PyTorch or Keras with extensive expertise in computer vision architectures and their deployment for remote sensing. We seek a candidate eager to explore the frontier of robotics and AI, specifically regarding how unmanned systems interpret complex environments.
You have a rigorous foundation in linear algebra and have previously productionized high-impact machine learning pipelines.
Strong analytical abilities are essential, particularly for mitigating motion blur, atmospheric haze, and perspective shifts native to high-speed drone data acquisition.
- You possess a documented history of training models for multi-class detection and terrain classification in unpredictable outdoor settings. Experience with LiDAR point clouds or multispectral sensors is a significant advantage.
